Kids At Max Supports NDIS Funded Participants

What is the NDIS?

The NDIS provides support to eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability. For children under 7, early intervention supports can also be provided for eligible children with a developmental delay.

How do I apply for NDIS?

1. Call NDIS – 1800 800 110 to obtain the Access Request Form – NDIS will ask questions about your child’s disability and eligibility criteria.

2. Kids At Max can help you complete the NDIS Supporting Evidence Form. For Kids At Max to provide supports, either NDIS Self Managed or NDIS Plan Managed funding options would need to be selected.

3. The application process may take several months and includes a parent meeting with NDIS to determine what supports are required for your child.

How We Can Help

Think your child might benefit from seeing a psychologist, speech pathologist or occupational therapist? Booking in to see one of our practitioners is simple!

Kids At Max provides NDIS Plan Managed or NDIS Self Managed funding participants support for psychology, speech pathology and occupational therapy for children and adolescents in a range of areas. We offer in clinic sessions, home visits, school visits and Telehealth (phone and video consultations).

1. Call us today to make an appointment on 03 9702 4447.

Call us for a chat and we’ll be able to assess whether your child may benefit from our services or if you need help with an NDIS Application.

2. Meet with one of our practitioners for an assessment.

Our team will meet with you and your child to gain a comprehensive understanding of your child’s individual needs and the areas they may require support.

3. We’ll develop a therapy plan that meets your child’s needs.

We have a family centred approach. In conjunction with you and your child, a practitioner will develop goals that will guide sessions. Sessions can incorporate play and fun activities to encourage your child’s engagement in therapy, as well as incorporating practical tools and strategies that your child can continue practicing at home. Our psychologists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists work collaboratively together to support you and your child.
